Job Roles and Responsibilities
The Regulatory Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that all the company’s products meet Bangladesh’s regulatory requirements for agrochemical and agricultural products. This position is responsible for managing the compliance and registration processes for the company's product portfolio e.g. insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, etc. and serves as the main liaison with regulatory authorities.
Roles and Responsibilities -
Lead the registration process for new and existing products by preparing and submitting regulatory dossiers to the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant authorities.
Ensure all products align with Bangladesh’s regulatory standards, including safety, efficacy, and environmental impact requirements.
Compile accurate and complete documentation, including safety data sheets, labels, and efficacy reports, for regulatory submissions.
Track and manage submission deadlines for product registrations, label approvals, and other required documentation to maintain compliance.
Work closely with the company’s R&D, sales, and legal teams to ensure compliance is integrated into product development and market strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, handling inquiries, managing audits, and coordinating product trials.
Stay current on regulatory developments affecting the company’s products and assess their implications for the company’s product portfolio.
Identify and address potential regulatory risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.
Provide training sessions for the company’s Bangladesh employees on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
Update the team on regulatory changes, ensuring consistent compliance across departments.
Maintain accurate records of regulatory approvals, licenses, and compliance documents for the company Bangladesh’s product range.
Prepare regular reports on regulatory activities, application statuses, and compliance metrics for internal stakeholders.
Skills and Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related fields. Advanced certifications in regulatory affairs or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory roles, ideally within the agriculture or agrochemical sectors.
Knowledge of Bangladeshi regulatory processes specific to agrochemical products, with strong organizational and project management skills
